We have received a record amount of traffic and comments over the last several weeks as we have released our nepotism and elitism articles. We believe this is because these articles struck a chord with our readers, both inside and outside the walls of Golden Dawn Tabernacle.

    We'd like to delve further into why we are doing this series, as these are critical articles examining and exposing topics are that uncomfortable and controversial to say the least.

    It is our position that it is crucial to expose and openly discuss how some elite church members are able to get away with double standards with their families reaping elitist benefits, while others live the life of loyal church rule followers yet are greatly affected when the GDT Ministry finds out and publicly humiliates and punishes them for some minor transgression. In essence, we believe it is similar to a caste system, where the elite and in power can get away with things that those not in power cannot.

    The sad reality is that most well informed congregants in the church know about the hypocrisy but are silent about it. They are silent because of fear or complacency.

    We've also received feedback that some readers are worried that we are “hurting” or embarrassing innocent people in the church. The problem with this logic is that this is why Pastor Isaac Noriega has been able to get away with his control and manipulation for decades. Because people know about the hypocrisy and abuse, and yet they stay quiet and refuse to do anything or help, again out of fear or complacency.

    Someone mentioned in the comments that everyone loves to read about it, but they are loath to take action (paraphrasing). We aim to change that by informing our readers and hopefully inspiring those that are brave enough to stand up and stop the GDT abuse from taking place in their own homes and personal lives.

    We hope that by exposing hypocrisy, nepotism and elitism in the church, we can do three things:

    1. Put pressure on the GDT ministry leadership team to change by addressing their misconduct and unethical leadership so they either uniformly enforce the rules or stop enforcing them completely across the congregation (we hope it is the latter).
    2. Inform and inspire GDT Church members who have been fed up with the lies and mistreatment enough to leave and achieve freedom.
    3. Inform and warn people who may be interested in joining this church so they are aware of what they are getting into with both eyes wide open.

    We want to reiterate that our intent is not to hurt innocent bystanders and congregants. Our intent is to rip the veil of hypocrisy and expose the truth to help those who have been chained be free from the legalism and pharisee holier than thou culture that has poisoned this church to the point where certain "iniquities" are selectively acceptable and complicity condoned.

      I know so well everything you all talk about. Noriega reminds me of Castillo, but Castillo was a bit more cheerful and insecure of himself, that’s why he always sought to copy or imitate or learn from someone, in other words, to be like someone else. I really came to appreciate Castillo, I had affection and respect for him, until I realized that power had gone to his head. Until I realized that his ego was bigger than his love for his neighbor.

      Give power to an insecure person, Give power to a jealous person, Give power to an envious person, Give power to a person with little education and culture, Allow them to use the word of God to instill fear in those who believe and love them, Allow them to exercise their jealousy, insecurities, and envies from the pulpit for 50 years. And there you have the result, two generations that lived 50 years in fear and anxiety about God, these people are now used to this, They are accustomed to the screams from the pulpit, to the threats from the pulpit, to the madness of jealousy and insecurities from the pulpit. These people believe that this is God, that it’s God shaping them, correcting them, and loving them. No, it is not God, it never was God, it was always Castillo’s jealousy and insecurities that were speaking. We simply allowed it, it was our ignorance on the subject, it was our foolishness, it was our superstitious and illusory self, we were afraid to contradict because we thought it was God and that we were God’s chosen ones, and this jealous and insecure being grew and took control of everything… And he lives constantly to soothe his own fears and insecurities about losing power. He lives constantly scheming and plotting how to perpetuate that power, because the whole image of himself he has is through power, through threat, the day he loses power and control of minds, reality will be unveiled. What he truly is will be revealed: a poor 70-80-year-old child who never wanted to confront his own demons, never knew how to identify what was going on within him, those fears and insecurities towards life and people took control, and like demons, they grew and took control from the pulpit, speaking in the name of God. It is very sad to see a person shaped by the jealousy and insecurities of another person, it shows, it shows the distorted values, the distorted reality in which they live, he labels the bad as good, the good as bad. He lives dodging situations, simple things (which for most people are not problems) make his life complicated, make his existence bitter. It is really not a good deal, it is not beneficial to do nothing, it is not beneficial not to set limits to that insecure monster who needs to control everything. It will corrupt everything. Sometimes I think that if all that illusion and expectation of being the chosen ones, the superior ones, the more than others, everything would have been more normal, simpler. If you see your insecure friend, reacting from jealousy, what do you do? You calm him down, give him a hug, make him see reason and there, the storm has passed. But here, in this case, believing to be God’s chosen ones, gave power to insecurities and fears, and they became demons.

      The ones at the top of Supreme Leader Isaac’s power pyramid do not like us (why?). Supreme Leader Isaac wants you to think we are evil because weve decided to put our salvation in Christ Jesus. Jesus exposed the hypocrisy and inconsistencies of the pharisee’s. But Jesus exposed their hearts of greed and pride. Exposing them!
      The Pharisees focused on following the exact letter of the law. Jesus Focused on the needs of the people. Jesus said I give you a new law..the highest law of all “to love everyone” and “serve them—and to serve them in secret without public praise”. Jesus taught a new and better way than what Isaac is selling (literally).

Pretty much everyone who knew Isaac as a kid or a young man has left the church or if they are still there they don’t listen to him. Almost all his siblings, and cousins left the church. His good friends growing up, Mike Bejar and Danny Ramirez left the church. His right hand man back in the day David Alcanta left the church. Others close to him left the church. And those that are still there like his sister Rachel, she doesn’t listen to anything he says.
