GDT Releases Isaac & Lucy Noriega “Two Pioneers” Memorial Book

As a follow up to last week's article on the new Omega Fellowship Hall dedication that took place this Monday, August 7th, 2023, we are publishing this article early due to popular demand.

The new Omega Fellowship Hall was dedicated in honor and remembrance of "Pastor Isaac and Sister Lucy Noriega Time Tested Memorials" as shown in the picture below.

As part of the dedication event, a new book was published and handed out to the Golden Dawn Tabernacle congregation. A book called "Time-Tested Memorials, The Life Story of Two Pioneers: Brother Isaac and Sister Lucy."

We have received multiple submissions of this book, so we have scanned, digitized and made the text searchable and uploaded a copy of the book below.

You will note that the editors left a note on page 6, stating the following:

"This book is meant for all those in the congregation of Tabernaculo Emanuel who are under the ministry and are following the Word. No part of this book may be quoted from, reproduced, or altered in any way with the intent of defaming or maligning the character of any individual."

We believe that our readers deserve to read this book too, due to public interest, and especially those that are former members and/or family members that still have ties to this church and may be interested to see the perspective this book provides. We believe that sharing this book meets fair use guidelines given that we are sharing this book for non-commercial educational purposes, among other factors.

Como dice en apocalipsis…" Salió venciendo y para vencer" Comprendamos Que las victimas principales son los niños de esa sociedad… Lo digo por asi fue mi experiencia. What a wonderful book. I could not stop reading it. God uses man as his instrumentality. So thankful to see how he used our brother and sister. The fruit is a wonderful assembly full of people who really love God. I have visited and preached there a few times and Golden Dawn is a special place! At the big banquet nobody was allowed to leave until the deacons dismissed table by table. They all had to pass by Isaac and greet him. They were greeted by nothing but scolding about their children and clothes. The deacons didn’t make the people go by Mathew to greet him so he got angry and got up, took his family and left not even 45 min into the “celebration.” Isaac made the excuse that he wasn’t feeling well. People, we need to understand that narcissists, especially those who use God and everything God stands for to their advantage, have brains that develop and grow differently from the majority since childhood. Due to various life circumstances (such as experiencing abuse as children or witnessing abuse within the family), they associate God with Power for some reason. In contrast, most humans associate God with Love, spirituality, peace, kindness, freedom, honesty, enlightenment, respect for others, love for others, and our relationship with God is not about competing with others.

However, for these individuals (I’m not familiar with Isaac, but I do know Castillo), everything seems to operate based on the logic of power. The one who is closer to God and possesses God is the one who:

Shouts louder, better, or more forcefully when preaching. Skillfully handles (or manipulates) Branham’s words and quotes. Commands more respect than others. Dominates and profits more from the flock. Positions themselves higher as God’s chosen compared to others. Has more wealth and possessions than others. Receives more admiration and respect than others. Has a congregation that appears more educated, more blessed, and better dressed than others. In essence, having more power and admiration for them means having more of God.

That’s why for these individuals, values like Kindness, Meekness, Love, Honesty, Respect, Virtue, and Brotherly Love carry different meanings than for most of us.

Want to be respected by some of these narcissists? You need to excel in something they value and admire. You need to show them that you are superior in an area that signifies power to them. They understand this language and logic. But if you allow yourself to be abused, manipulated, show fear, or present yourself as a victim, you are not deemed worthy of their respect.

Their logic is quite primitive. It’s based on the law of the strongest, the most skillful. They’ve developed this kind of mindset, which revolves more around their financial gain and personal benefits.

Here are some thoughts on the book. I’ve read about half of it.

Isaac was Dedicated as Ishmael NOT ELISHA so already they started the book off with a lie.

Those old bitter ladies he talks about that don’t smile have now become Isaac That man can’t crack a smile if his life depended on it.

Page 21: Isaac is sad in the army because he Has been away from his girlfriend who he promised to marry, not because of random depression.

So I read The Whole book. Here is the second part of what the book says

Page: 142. Isaac said he wanted to build a school in 2005 because of the worldliness of the public schools. But those same spirits that were in public schools of cussing, bad attitudes, fighting, sexual activities are in the church school as well. Isaac claims he got the revelation in 2005 to do a school but quotes branham multiple times about not sending kids to public school. So why did he send his kids all the way to college?

Page 147: let’s be clear John chacon didn’t stop traveling because he wanted to be under isaacs leadership. He stopped traveling because Isaac found out he was having an affair over seas.

Page 147: why was Danny Rojas church the only sister church when there’s many message churches in Tucson

Page 154: Steve Francis is talking about how he’s never seen a church like GD in all the churches he’s been to with 100% attendance. Well maybe because those other churches don’t lie to the congregation by saying if you don’t come to church every service then you’re a backslider and a sinner. Those other churches aren’t threatened with excommunication for missing a church service like the people at GD are. The people at GD are forced to show up every service otherwise a deacon or elder will call you and you’ll get blacklisted.

Page 161: describes how the church had so many brothers willing to help build the church and how God put it in there hearts to volunteer. That is a BIG LIE. At first the church only had brothers that volunteered. And Isaac seen that the project was moving slow. So he yelled at the congregation one day and told them that if they don’t help build the church then they aren’t Christians. So more people went to build. Then he yelled at them again and told them they need to show up at the start of the day and no one can leave till Rey blows the whistle at the end of the day. Then he told them they need to go help everyday after work and leave there families behind. He even told them they can no longer leave for an hour to get lunch. Instead they need to pack lunch and eat on site. That doesn’t sound like volunteering. It sounds more like force labor. Plus almost all of the brothers I talked to hated having to go every day and every weekend to build. Leaving no time for themselves or their families.

Page 162: Isaac says no one has ever been asked for money to pay for the buildings. But that is a lie. Isaac screams at the people that they need to pay offerings and that 10% is the minimum tithe that they should pay. He said they should be giving way more then 10% which by the way is not scriptural as he claims.

Page 168: Isaac says Lucy suffered physically because the conduct of others. He is gaslighting the people to think his wife was sick because of them. I’m sorry sir, your wife was sick because of the conduct of yourself. That was God punishing you for how you treat others. He always told people your son is sick because of the sin in your life, and things like that. So maybe his wife was sick because of the sin in his life.

Page 187. Isaac did not preach what Paul preached. Paul preached love mercy and grace. Isaac preached you’re saved by works, doom and gloom

Page 194: they are trying to say God appointed the trustees and deacons, but God wouldn’t have chosen those men who are out drinking, gambling, having affairs, stealing money, lying, having internet, and having smart phones. Those are just some of the things that have been brought to our attention that the current deacons and trustees have or are doing. If it was the God of GD who chose those men, it wouldn’t be so, proving that those men weren’t chosen by God but by Isaac.

Conclusion: This book is full of lies and half truth stories. We can all write a life story about anyone of us and how we have prospered through the years. Isaac is just a regular preacher who rules his church like a dictator. It contradicts its self in many areas, one being where it says a pastor needs to have an encounter with the pillar of fire, but then they ordain Matthew as associate pastor who has not had an encounter with the pillar of fire. Instead they said God chose him which we all know the deacons and elders chose him to please Isaac because they are all yes men. The supernatural encounters Isaac supposedly had were never witnessed by anyone else so who knows if they are real or not. Probably not. Isaac obviously has studied the Bible and knows it well, but he has preached it to his own narrative to scare the people into staying in his church. This book was nothing but giving Isaac glory and brown nosing him before he dies.
