Examining GDT Ministry Nepotism – Assistant Pastor Part 2
In this article, we will be examining Assistant Pastor Reymundo "Rey" Aguirre's family in more detail, and highlight some the benefits that this family has reaped as a result of their "insider" elite status in the church. Some of these benefits may help explain why Reymundo is always so eager to please Pastor Isaac Noriega and do his bidding as a church rule enforcement officer, interrogator, messenger, and private investigator. In addition to reaping the benefits we will discuss further below, Reymundo has been on the church payroll for many years, serving in multiple leadership capacities, including Church School Principal while receiving a salary.
Financial Benefits - Church Financing & Housing
Isaac Noriega's Sells Former Home to Reymundo Aguirre
On December 6th, 1994, Isaac and Lucy Noriega sold their former home located at 5536 S. Forrest Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85746 for $160,000 to Reymundo and Yolanda Aguirre as shown in the public records below. At this point, Isaac and his family were living at their Mockingbird Estates.
5536 S. Forrest Ave Property Value and Amenities
In 2023 money, $160,000 is equivalent to $329,403. The 0.79 acre property at 5536 S. Forrest avenue has two homes. The main home has a size of 3,296 square feet, and a guest house at 999 square feet according to the public Pima County Assesor record below. The main house is a 5 bedroom home with 3 full bathrooms and a 3 car garage. The master bedroom room includes a study, a day room, and a jacuzzi in the bathroom. In addition to the master bedroom suite, there is an additional bedroom suite, with its own bathroom and shower. There is also a pool with a BBQ area, and a basketball court and volleyball court (or used to be when the house was sold by Isaac to Reymundo).
It's very easy to see that Reymundo and Yolanda Aguirre got an excellent deal on this house. Today, there are no homes in Tucson selling for under $550,000 that meet this square footage and property size as shown by this Zillow search.
Possible Nepotism and Quid Pro Quo?
We ask our readers to consider, is it possible that Isaac Noriega sold this property to Reymundo at such a steep discount as part of a quid pro quo deal? Did Isaac have a special arrangement or agreement with Reymundo that resulted in this benefit in return for something else? We will be exploring these questions further, in future articles.
Church Loan With Interest
One interesting thing to note about the sale of this home is that Isaac provided a loan to Reymundo using church funds with interest. While we have documentation of Isaac providing interest free loans to certain church members as shown in some of our previous articles, this loan actually had a 6.25% interest rate with a warranty deed against the house, giving Isaac and the church the authority to repossess the house if Reymundo defaulted on the loan as shown in the documents below. This is well below the average mortgage rate in 1994 of 8.28%. It is worth noting that Reymundo did refinance and get a loan through Banc One Mortgage Corporation on 07/31/1995.
So, Tabernaculo Emanuel, a non-profit tax exempt church organization, was making a profit using tax-exempt funds while simultaneously providing a loan to a church official. The IRS prohibits this transaction because the loan may be considered a violation of the IRS requirement of its “No Inurement” policy for non profit organizations. The IRS clearly says no part of a nonprofits earnings should inure to the benefit of any person, in particular any insider. A church official such as a deacon, trustee, elder or assistant pastor is clearly an insider.
On a brief history side-note: Isaac Noriega had the 5536 S. Forrest Avenue home built by the church members using free "volunteer" labor in 1979. According to one former member, when he built the house, there was a lot of peer pressure to help. On one occasion, he went on a Saturday to help the brothers with the house construction project. None of the brothers brought lunch as it was common courtesy that the host would usually provide lunch to the volunteer labor force as a gesture of appreciation. However, Isaac did not provide or offer lunch. As a result, Isaac's brother, Clemente asked Isaac if he could give him some money so he could buy lunch for the brothers who were volunteering. Isaac angrily responded that he told everyone to bring their own lunch and refused to pay for anyone's lunch. As a result, the volunteers had to pitch in their own money to pool enough money to buy lunch everyone.
Tabernaculo Emanuel Buys and Sells Home to Reymundo's Son Using Church Funds
On August 31, 2018, GDT Church Officials purchased the home located at 1108 W. Columbia St, Tucson, AZ 85714 for a sum of $130,000 under the church's official name, Tabernaculo Emanuel as shown in the publicly recorded documents below.
The GDT church officials shortly thereafter sold the property to Reysalomon Aguirre, son of Assistant Pastor Reymundo Aguirre, on September 07, 2018. They also provided a loan to Reysalomon and his wife Bethel Aguirre for $130,256.
So it would seem that the church went out of their way to purchase a home (not used for parsonage purposes), then sold it to the Assistant Pastor's son, while also providing him a mortgage loan for the purchase. If you take a look at the warrant deed document listed above, you will see that the church secretary/treasurer and entire board of trustees at the time signed off on this transaction. They are also listed below:

David Koss (former trustee)
Alberto Medina (former trustee)
Robert Gutierrez Jr. (current trustee)

Elias Enoch Duenas (former trustee, currently a deacon)
Conclusion
In summary, Isaac sold Reymundo his former home that was built using volunteer labor, and used church funds to provide Reymundo a mortgage loan, at 6.25% interest rate. In addition, GDT Church officials directly purchased a home using church funds, then sold it to Reymundo's youngest son, Reysalomon Aguirre, while also financing that purchase with a loan using church funds.
It is very difficult to argue that there was no nepotism taking place with the above described transactions. It is also very difficult to argue that there was no inurement taking place while using tax-exempt non-profit church funds for the personal gain of church insiders.

The reason why Rey and his family get these privileges is because isaacs oldest son raped her when she was young. The only way Isaac could keep it quiet and keep Rey quiet was to give him all these benefits that continue today. I mean if you don’t believe it think about this. - As a small child we are taught the most important thing about our lives is following church rules. Look how even Rey’s granddaughter died because her parents shut her up from being a normal noisy baby. Holding her mouth shut thus forcing an object down her throat and choking her. Not trying to kill her but because they were training her to follow GD rules at all cost. Because the parents were so interested in shutting the baby up for Isaac. Because we can climb the power pyramid if the family is in order. So this in a nutshell describes how kids are not allowed to be a “kids”..
- Now to childhood Elementary school(NOPE) Absolutely not. They will be mandatory attendance at GDs part time makeshift facility that as far as the government knows is “NOT A SCHOOL “. Remember Rey and Isaac lied and told government officials that it’s not. (we all know it is) are we so brainwashed we think it’s okay for OUR MEN OF GOD to lie!!? This breeding ground is Isaac’s most Powerful tool to keep his empire growing. similar to little nazi youth camps brainwashing and teaching propaganda. During these elementary years when most normal healthy kids should be creating multiple outside the home friendships and learning the arts, perhaps joining martial arts for discipline and mental focus, little league baseball to learn teamwork and just plain ol fun!…attending science camps summer camps. Water parks and extended summer vacations for family bonding etc etc.. Instead Isaac knows these things will open the minds of children. After these beautiful experiences and them being allowed to see healthy environments! Kids will know GD is a horrible deadend existence.
- As they begin to become teenagers (these are the worst yrs). Isaac takes total control by mental conditioning that the world is ending everything is a sin and now instead of your teenagers being prepared for young adulthood starting to make plans for their future lives and being able to put ‘legs’ to their goals.. NOPE!! they are being forced into becoming adults.

Es un negociazo eso de comprar y vender casas…. Las que ellos construyen alli alrededor de la Iglesia y las que compran por la ciudad.. Seems like someone quit teaching at church school to stalk on Tony full time. No one cares what he does. Everyone knows about his life he never tried to put on a show and act like something that he’s not. The Aguirres on the other hand are really something. Everyone knows joy beats the crap out of her kids and no one can say anything. It’s not even discipline at that point it’s plain abuse (the kids are probably just hungry since they’ve been sitting in church for like 4 hours with no food since it’s against the rules) And she had a past yet got to have a big wedding. Her sisters in laws were the biggest flirts in the whole church walking around like they thought they were really it. One of them used her position as a teacher to seduce a minor and he was the one who was seen as bad even tho he was a victim. She still teaches . May God have mercy on her poor children and watch over them even this very minute Lord ..this is the third time I have heard from a separate party that this deacons wife is physically abusing her children. she learned how to abuse from her dad, You see before he was paralyzed in a wheelchair he beat her younger brother for “Fun” I don’t use that word to humorous. That is the way her mom described it to me when looking to me for advice when her and her brother were about 10 years old, Her wheelchair bound dad can write a book on on how to beat a child which is not hard, the key is to be able to teach the children how to hide it …that’s what her dad was good at …teaching how to hide the abuse It really sucks to hear this because she never once got spanked by her dad. Which is common for male abusers to pick a “scapegoat “her brother who is now a deacon may possibly be continuing the cycle of abuse as well. I will not go further as I do not know this for a fact, but I have heard rumors.
I 100% know for a fact her dad never gave her one spanking. But she sure did witness the views upon her younger brother. So I know she knows what to tell her kids to hide it when questioned because she saw her dad do it One of her family members described it as her dad being on a “hi” when beating her younger brother and may God have mercy on my life if I am lying about this.
As a matter fact, and I say this with all humbleness… one of the first thoughts that came to my mind when her dad was in that tragic car accident, (which put him in a wheelchair) A thought relief knowing he could no longer be able to beat her younger brother an mother. His discipline was on another level. He love to start his beatings by making you think you may not survive this one! And his were like boxing matches. He like to take rest periods and continue one, but he was a pro..Her little brother was wearing that suit and tie on Sunday & Wednesday. and You couldn’t see the marks, but God will have his day with parents in GoldenDawn that learn abuse and continue it, that’s why these children are so mentally messed up Where was Isaac you say well Isaac was always OK with her dads actions may God have mercy on these children and women. I think she enjoys her little power that she has though. I’ve seen it in my interactions with her over the years, if anybody sees her children with marks no matter how small..please call the authorities anonymously, if need be(911) to do a welfare check a warrant is not needed. …last part meant to say when reporting physical abuse of the children in GD please do not go to Isaac or a deacon. This will make it worse for the child or mother. Go to the police and make the report and ask them to do a “check welfare” on the child. La casa donde vive rey Aguirre constantemente la remodelan … Usando a los hnos de la iglesia, El sabe que por la posicion que tiene nadie se le va a negar. Okay…for the record…I worked on that house from the beginning and Mike Ramirez and I remodeled it later…Daniel fraijo and I built the porches in the back that later got enclosed.. Isaac seems to have a fetish for enclosing places.. I remember the sale of the house to Rey.. He actually paid more then market value at the time.. I also built the big house on mockingbird lane..I negotiated the land purchase of mockingbird lane..I showed Isaac that property.. So to be fair…to Rey….there was no hocus pocus.. I think being honest in the discussions on this page is important. So that is the reason I am taking the time to post…I was there… Let’s not let our dislike of things fog our vision
