In our recent post, we, the team at Golden Dawn Tabernacle Research (GDTR), received an unprecedented amount of comments and feedback. A significant number of these comments were critical and targeted current church members, which subsequently raised concerns among families and friends. We hadn't previously experienced this volume of comments and were somewhat taken aback. While we took steps to moderate the content, we found ourselves facing backlash from readers concerned we were taking sides. We fully acknowledge the perspectives on all sides.

Our vision statement underscores our belief that the information we share merely unveils the events already transpiring. If GDT leadership were transparent, had accountability to the congregation, and had no questionable practices they didn't want uncovered, our research should pose no threat. However, Pastor Isaac Noriega's recent public comments, expressing a sense of persecution and lamenting the public exposure of information he'd prefer his congregation didn't see, demonstrate GDT leadership's strong opposition to our site.

In this installment of our ongoing series, "How To Escape from the GDT Cult", we will focus on the topic of Education and share some valuable resources for church members seeking to enhance their education. As we have previously discussed, Pastor Isaac Noriega of the Golden Dawn Tabernacle church discourages higher education strongly and urges parents to enroll their children in the church school. This establishment provides a basic level of education at best, often resulting in students graduating with high school equivalency diplomas from diploma mills, or just their GEDs at best. This practice subtly creates a hurdle that discourages members from leaving the church as it leaves them ill-prepared to tackle life outside the GDT community.

In this article, we will examine a concerning pattern observed in recent church construction projects, specifically regarding permit compliance. Over the past decade, there has been a surge in construction activities within the Golden Dawn church. These projects include the construction of a new sanctuary auditorium, the conversion of the old sanctuary into a fellowship hall, the development of new elder compound apartments, the construction of a new fellowship hall, and the recent remodeling of the former sanctuary into classrooms. It is important to note that each phase of these projects necessitates permits and adherence to building codes to ensure safety and public welfare. Unfortunately, as highlighted in previous articles, the leadership of Golden Dawn Temple (GDT) has demonstrated a willingness to overlook safety concerns and employ questionable practices in order to minimize expenses. This behavior is largely justified by the church's anti-government stance and the doomsday teachings of Pastor Isaac Noriega.

Many readers have provided feedback, suggesting that our description of the length and peculiarities of a typical Golden Dawn Tabernacle (GDT) church service might be somewhat exaggerated. It can be challenging for someone who has never attended such a service to grasp its structure and repetitiveness. Even former members who have recently left the church may be surprised at the extent to which practices have changed. In this post, we aim to provide an overview of a typical GDT church service and highlight some of the rules that the congregation must follow. This will illustrate how the GDT church differs from other religious institutions and contributes to the BITE model.

It's crucial to recognize that opinions on courting and marriages vary significantly; our focus is on understanding the Golden Dawn Tabernacle system and its impact on the lives of its members. We wish all existing married couples in this church the best and hope they share genuine love. However, it's important to acknowledge that there have been instances where true love and affection were not present.

This subject often evokes painful memories for numerous former and current members, as it has given rise to heartbreak, distressing experiences, loveless unions, and alienation. The Golden Dawn Tabernacle Ministry has instituted regulations that prohibit dating and, in effect, led to the point where it seems arranged marriages are occurring. Pastor Isaac Noriega has gradually added more rules and principles for courting, effectively eroding it to the point of nonexistence, utilizing the draconian doctrines and rules we have previously discussed. The consequences of this approach have been deeply disheartening and have played a major role in the departure of young people in recent years.

This church has frequently faced criticism for its hostile marginalization of women. The doctrinal tenets of the church imply that women hold a lesser status compared to men, leading some critics to argue that it promotes the idea of women as second-class citizens deserving of subordinate treatment. The situation is particularly concerning as females significantly outnumber males, particularly because of the increasing number of young men leaving the church. He achieves this by selectively using teachings from Rev. William Branham and asserting that he possesses unique knowledge and insights into spiritual mysteries. While we do not endorse or discredit any specific teachings of the message, we observe a concerning pattern of Isaac cherry-picking aspects of the teachings to enhance his authority or suggest a deeper spiritual connection to himself and his ministry. As highlighted in our previous posts, Isaac leverages his sermons to foster division, isolation, and control. In this post, we aim to briefly investigate how he manipulates certain aspects of the message to serve his agenda and, ultimately, how the congregation is affected by his actions.
