Examining A Few Unconventional Teachings

After perusing the documented instances of poor leadership, a visitor to this website will inevitably wonder: "Why does anyone remain in that church? Why doesn't everyone leave?" The simple answer is fear: fear of the world outside, fear of ex-communication and being "taken out of the blood", fear of family separation, and fear of losing the only close-knit community they know. This website has thoroughly examined these fear-based tactics and their powerful influence over the congregation. However, another critical method through which Isaac Noriega exerts control is by distorting or disregarding scripture and creating spiritual fear. He knows that many members do not deeply study their Bibles, instead selectively referencing passages to support their beliefs. In this post, we aim to analyze a few such instances and explore how they are used to manipulate and disorient the congregation of Golden Dawn Tabernacle.

Is Golden Dawn Tabernacle A Missionary Church?

The statement that "A church that is not growing, is dying" is a widely recognized fact, among Christains. Growth in a church is usually seen when new people join, showing that the church is actively reaching out. 'Evangelism' is a key part of this, which means sharing the Christian message to invite new people to join, both locally and abroad. The Bible passage Acts 2:42-47 shows that churches grow when they focus on sharing their faith and teaching others. Simply put, a church's love for God and its community helps it spread the Gospel both at home and around the world. Despite these widely accepted truths, Golden Dawn Tabernacle appears to overlook them, yet still considers itself an evangelistic church. This article will examine how GDT approaches missionary and evangelism work and its influence on the growth of the church.

GDT’s Golden Calf - Pastor Worship Part 1

In a healthy church, a pastor is primarily an individual who provides spiritual teachings and is present for the edification of the congregation. The term itself - "spiritual overseer" - underscores the notion of service, as seen in definitions that highlight a clergyperson's role in serving a local church or parish. Many pastors wholeheartedly serve their congregations while also juggling responsibilities such as family life, and in some instances, another job. It is truly commendable when someone heeds the call to guide people through the pivotal moments of life, including deaths, births, weddings, joys, and sorrows.
